Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVE IN HANOI
When you land in Hanoi after your long flight we’ll be at the airport to meet you and take you to our accommodation. You’ll have plenty of time to recover from your flight, chill out and meet everyone in your group.
Day 2
RICKSHAW EXPLORING
Discover what makes the chaotic capital of Vietnam so special with a walking and rickshaw tour of the city. Experience the bustling streets, fascinating culture and delicious street food. We’ll then head out for dinner and experience some of Hanoi’s best nightlife!
Day 3
HA LONG BAY OVERNIGHT BOAT
Experience the stunning natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, cruise on beautiful emerald green waters through towering limestone mountains topped with rainforest. Go kayaking through caves and enjoy some drinks aboard our overnight boat!
Day 4
NINH BINH HOMESTAY
Today we head south to the beautiful countryside of Ninh Binh, a landscape of endless rice paddies and epic limestone mountains. Check in to our unique and amazing local homestay, relaxing in our private riverside bungalows for the evening.
Day 5
BIKE RIDES, ROW BOATS & HIKING
Today we explore magical Ninh Binh. We’ll take a bike ride through the rice paddies and then a local row boat along a network of rivers and caves. We’ll then tackle the iconic Dragon Mountain Viewpoint before boarding the overnight train south to Hoi An.
Day 6
EXPLORE HOI AN
In the morning we’ll arrive in Hoi An, one of the most beautiful and fascinating towns in Vietnam. You’ll have some time in the afternoon to chill out, go shopping or even get some clothes made! This evening we'll experience the iconic lantern boats.
Day 7
BASKET FISHING & COOKING CLASS
Be guided through coconut groves by local fishermen while you try your hand at some crab fishing! We’ll then learn the secrets of preparing delicious Vietnamese food with a traditional cooking class.
Day 8
LANTERN MAKING CLASS & BEACH DAY
This morning we’ll learn how to make lanterns. We’ll then enjoy a chilled day at a beach club. That evening we’ll head out for our farewell dinner together.
Day 9
CHECK OUT & ONWARD TRAVEL
Your amazing adventure comes to an end. You can either check out and make your way home or continue your travels with our help, advice and the new friends you have made!

The itinerary was amazing and the places we visited were diverse and so beautiful. You have a group leader with you at all times who take you through your tour, make suggestions for your free time and help you if you need anything. I had Lucy, Ava, and Taylor as mine and they were wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and great energy. I'm vegetarian and they make sure there are veggie options at all planned meals. All activities are also optional so you can opt out, if you wish. Hotels, transport, and activities are all included so saves you the hassle of researching and booking yourself. You just need to get to the airport of the city the tour starts in yourself and they pick you up from there. Due to the war in Iran, my flight home was cancelled and Lucy leant me her laptop and helped my find flights home. I'e met some amazing people through this experience and seen places that are so beautiful, photos and words don' do them justice. I cannot wait to do another Intro tour!
